I have had my Ford Explorer in for service several times, and they have been so patient and kind to explain to me the diagnosed problem, the necessary repairs, and the cost. I had a new transfer case put in last fall (2009), quite expensive, but necessary. They were so professional, courteous and accommodating, and were able to obtain one with a 3 yr warranty. When the same noises started again a few weeks ago, I thought it was the transfer case again, but after diagnosing it and consulting with outside consultants, it was determined that what I needed was 4 new tires. "I started with a phone call to Jeff Butcher. Jeff was extremely helpful. I called at 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning. When I came into work on Monday morning I had an e-mail from Jeff with some info on three different cars. I drove over the following Friday and spoke with Jim Birdsell. (Jeff was busy finishing a sale when I got there.) Jim was so helpful and very pleasant. In fact, my teenage daughter picked up on how helpful Jim was and commented right away that day. She also mentioned that they aren't this friendly in Taylorville. Of course, she liked the car that I bought immediately. And, I really didn't think that I wanted a white car, but Jeff suggested it in his e-mail. So, I drove two different Fusions and knew immediately which one I preferred. The rest is history....I bought the white Fusion. The staff in Jacksonville was so professional, polite and helpful. Though I don't know the in's and out's of car shopping, I love the Fusion that I purchased. It was in my ballpark for what I could afford. I hope the dealership did okay with my purchase as well. I was pretty impressed that in the two days that I was at the Jacksonville store they sold two other vehicles in the short time that I was there.
